Iceland incentive travel

Iceland is an island in the North Atlantic Ocean with only 300,000 inhabitants, but with extremely high geothermal activity and geological contrasts. The landscape is characterized by waterfalls, geysers, volcanoes, black sand beaches and steaming lava fields. Discover it all during an Iceland incentive trip!

The land of ice and fire

Because almost 80% of the country is uninhabited, much of the land consists of plateaus, mountain peaks and fertile lowlands. Commonly known as “The Land of Fire and Ice”, Iceland is home to some of the largest glaciers in Europe, including Europe’s largest, Vatnajökull, and some of the world’s most active volcanoes (125).

Whale watching

A whale safari in Iceland is a must! Enjoy a whale watching dinner on a cruise ship (95% chance of seeing them!). Long summer days with nearly 24 hours of sunshine are offset by short winter days with only a few hours of daylight.

Blue lagoon, geysers and the Northern Lights

In Iceland you will find geysers and thermal hot springs! How about a lovely warm dip in the Blue Lagoon? The warm water and natural active ingredients such as mineral salts, silica and blue-green algae help you and your team relax during an Iceland incentive trip. Or take a hike along the most impressive geysers and waterfalls! Other natural wonders that can be seen during an Iceland incentive trip are the Northern Lights (end of August) and midnight sun.

Golden circle

The famous Golden Circle is a versatile route along some of Iceland’s highlights! You will visit Thingvellir National Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most unique places in the world. You’ll find a lot of geothermal activity including the Strokkur geyser, where steaming hot water erupts to a height of 25 meters every 5-7 minutes, surrounded by bubbling mud pools. You can also admire the Gullfoss waterfalls, one of the most impressive in Europe! Here the glacier river of Hvítá tumbles 32 meters in a double cascade. A rainbow is visible on a sunny day.

Jeep, snowmobiles and glacier hikes

Discover Iceland in a spectacular way. Get into a 4 × 4 jeep or snowmobile and enjoy an adventurous ride across ice shelves. Along the way, you will be amazed by the different types of landscapes Iceland has to offer. Arriving at the glaciers, an impressive hike begins. An absolute highlight during an incentive trip through Iceland. Accompanied by an experienced guide, you will discover the glacier by foot!

We will enjoy a refreshing bath or a swim in the pleasantly warm mineral-rich water (36°C-38°C). The Blue Lagoon’s warm water and natural active ingredients like mineral salts, silica and blue green algae help you relax and escape the stress and strain of daily life.

Day 2 - Geysirs, Glaciers & Snowmobiles

In the morning, we will enjoy the beautiful and famous Golden Circle, Icelands natural highlights. We visit the Thingvellir NP, a place of fascinating natural beauty, a spectacular geological vista, one of the highlights during your incentive travel in Iceland!
We go to the mighty waterfall of Gullfoss – the Golden falls – perhaps the most beautiful in the country.
Afterwards we explore the active geothermal area of Haukadalur which contains the geysers Geysir and Strokkur, and many other hot springs. The Strokkur is erupting up to 25 metres every 5-7 minutes.

At the end of the day we go to the Langjökull glacier to ride a snow mobile across the endless icecaps. After the snowmobile ride we can provide some antifreeze – schnapps, to warm everyone up.

Day 3 - Hot springs, Waterfalls by monster truck

Today we discover the Borgarfjördur region, rich in history and natural phenomea. Waterfalls, natural hot springs and glaciers.  Board a monster truck for a drive to the summit of the Langjökull glacier at an altitute of around 1250 metres. Enter the glacier through a long tunnel that has been created to show how glaciers are created.  At the bottom of the tunnel, lunch awaits served from tables carved out of the ice.  Back to Reykjavik late in the afternoon and dinner in a nearby restaurant.
